HITEC Education System

Being a prestigious and unique organization that offers education from Pre-school to University level, HITEC faces the challenge of accommodating diversity.

At HITEC we believe that:

All children can learn and achieve success.
Education is the key to a successful future.

Our objectives are to:

Give all children an excellent start in education so that they have a better foundation to learning;
Enable all young people to develop and equip themselves with the skills, knowledge, ethical and
personal qualities needed for life and work.

HITEC School System follows a Learner Centered Education Approach. This is an approach to teaching and learning that comes directly from the principles of equity (fairness) and democracy (participation).The natural curiosity and eagerness to investigate and to make sense of a widening world is nourished and encouraged by challenging and meaningful tasks. At HITEC the learner's perspective and needs are appreciated and considered. The learners are empowered to think and take responsibility not only for their own learning but also for others learning and development. Learners are involved as partners in, rather than receivers of educational growth. HITEC Teaching framework is based on the belief that students not only need a good grounding in the foundation skills of numeracy and literacy but also need to experience to develop the skills and attitudes to become life long learners, able to thrive in a rapidly changing world. It combines the best of traditional and innovative approaches to learning- the best of both worlds. A more informed Vision for the 21st Century. Teaching is not limited to curriculum demands but is enriched with competencies based on Thinking Skills, Computer Literacy, Art Education, and Health Education. Project Based Learning is an approach used for teaching Science and Social Studies. This methodology brings to class real life situations for students to develop problem solving and decision making skills. Students are encouraged to work in groups and develop better communication and interpersonal skills. Learning in school is maximized by active participation of parents; HITEC schools have regular Parent Teacher Meetings to share the children's experiences, learning progress and assessments with parents and guardians. Suggestions, opinions and comments by parents are welcomed and appreciated both verbally and in writing. HITEC Education System offers two streams of examinations; Matric System affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad. International Cambridge Examination Students from both streams have shown high achievements and have made a mark in the academic circle.
