RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COMPLEX
The Spacious Mosque forms the centre of the HITEC campus. It has an independent Islamic Library and a Centre for Contemporary Religious Education. Moreover, it is compulsory for every student to offer at least one prayer (Bajamaat) in the Mosque everyday. HITEC motto In Truth I Triumph weaves through all academic, character building and grooming activities. In view of this, Islamiat is taught as a compulsory subject to all classes. The morning assembly begins with the recitation from the Holy Qur'an and its translation into Urdu and English. 'Hamd' and 'Naat' competitions are a regular feature of the HITEC calendar. The Religious Centre offers regular courses in Hifz, Tajweed, Nazra and Hadith besides holding seminars and symposia on important topics of religious affairs. The teachers not only make good behaviour and moral education a point to teach, but also demonstrate these through personal example to act as role models.
