Introduction

Spread over 101 Acres, HITEC has been envisioned to be a centre of excellence as a whole for quality education and providing our children the requisite environment and opportunities for intellectual flourishing and physical growth. HITEC is a welfare institution where intellectual, moral, social and physical development of the students is effected under the direct supervision of Experienced and well qualified faculty. It has been developed to offer balanced academic programmes with a blend of modern scientific knowledge and enlightened religious education. It aims at providing quality education, making no discrimination between the students of different classes of the society. Primarily it has been established to provide subsidized education to the low income employees of Heavy Industries Taxila. However, it caters to provide incentives and financial support to all who deserve on account of brilliance and need, irrespective of any category. Keeping its welfare dimension in view HITEC offers equal opportunities to the children of Heavy Industries Taxila and Civilians in the nearby towns and suburbs. Furthermore, no promising and deserving student need ever to leave HITEC because of financial constraints. HITEC has a responsibility of responding to future challenges within its spheres. Sense of inquisitiveness is an essence of education and creativity. Students' abilities and attitudes must be identified and then honed on and harnessed for further developing and grooming the youth.
