Professional Development HTEC institutions are run by professionally trained staff. This is taken care of by the Professional Development Center which is managed under Director Academics, Training and Evaluation. Recently a program of workshops was conducted to develop leadership traits in the Principals of HITEC Schools.

“Educational Leadership” conducted by Shaista Shahid director Academics, Training and Evaluation 1. What is Professional Development? Standards for Leadership 2. Change 3. HITEC Education System Heads of all institutions participated in this two day workshop Nine Day Course conducted By ED Links in Collaboration with USAID, Ministry of Education and Agha Khan University in Islamabad. Following four teachers from HITEC High Schools and colleges for Men and Women attended this course Mohammad Akram – physics Waqar Hussain- English Famran Akhtar -computers Naveed Imran – Mathematics English as a second Language Teachers of HITEC Pre-school attended an interesting workshop conducted by Professor Awan on improving their classroom English expression. Activities were held on spoken English, questioning, vocabulary etc. |
